Job Title: Neuromonitoring Tech

At Johns Hopkins Medicine, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neuromonitoring Tech to join our team. As a key member of our neurosurgical and spine surgery team, you will be responsible for performing and monitoring all modalities of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring for various procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and monitor intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring for neurosurgical, vascular, pediatric, ENT, orthopedic spine, and interventional radiology procedures.
  • Record and analyze data from various monitoring modalities, including motor cranial nerve recording, electromyography (EMG), spinal screw and direct nerve stimulation, and intraoperative somatosensory evoked potential (SSEP).
  • Collaborate with neurosurgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective monitoring.
  • Develop and implement protocols for monitoring and data analysis.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in anatomy, physiology, or a closely related field.
  • 0-1 year of experience in intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring.
  • BLS certification.
