Job Title: Loss Prevention Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Officer to join our team at Iowa Premium, a National Beef Company in Tama, Iowa.

Job Summary:

The Loss Prevention Officer will be responsible for monitoring and controlling vehicular traffic, securing premises, inspecting vehicles and bags, and monitoring controlled access points. The successful candidate will have strong surveillance skills, a strong ethical character, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control vehicular traffic to prevent loss and damage to company property
  • Secure premises by patrolling property and inspecting vehicles and bags
  • Monitor controlled access points to prevent unauthorized access
  • Complete required reports in a timely manner
  • Record observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities
  • Investigate incidents of irregularity and contribute to a team effort
Requirements:
  • Surveillance skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong, ethical character and ability to demonstrate professionalism
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
  • Exemplary performance and attendance record at previous employment
  • Bilingual is a plus
