Job Overview

POSITION TITLE:
Allocation Analyst

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Allocation Analyst plays a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing in-store inventory management, aimed at boosting sales, profit margins, and overall store effectiveness for the organization through the development and implementation of strategic allocation plans.

This position requires a high level of collaboration, working closely with various cross-functional teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Formulate, distribute, and oversee store opening assortment and unit plans for both new and remodeled locations, ensuring optimal initial stock levels.

2. Strategically plan and allocate monthly floor set initial distributions utilizing Store/Product Volume Ranking Indexes and Allocation Plan evaluations.

3. Manage weekly fashion replenishment by analyzing store performance, trends, product effectiveness, and promotional, event, visual, and marketing requirements.

4. Oversee basic replenishment processes based on analytical models and stock balancing to maintain ideal in-stock positions across stores.

5. Collaborate with Merchants and Planners to devise and execute allocation strategies, integrating retail approaches (Visual, Product, Marketing, Promotional) to ensure alignment with cross-functional teams.

6. Analyze and update size profiles by store and product category, ensuring integration into both initial and replenishment allocations.

7. Provide comprehensive ad-hoc analyses and recommendations to influence buying plans and assortment strategies.

8. Cultivate a deep understanding of store, district, and regional performance metrics, variances, trends, and attributes through extensive data analysis and field communication, applying insights to allocation strategies.


EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
0-2 Years
