About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team at Systems Application & Technologies Inc. in Norfolk, VA.

The estimated salary for this position is around $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for researching, quoting, sourcing, and procuring parts, equipment, and subcontracted services on behalf of both the contractor and the government.

You will monitor transactions, document and maintain current status, and follow-up with vendors from the material quote through to the final invoice.

This role requires excellent attention to detail, diligent status documentation, and identification and escalation of potential issues or delays in the procurement process.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 1-3 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, or materials management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
