Job Description

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a contract opportunity in Sterling Heights, MI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet each student's specific needs.
  • Provide specialized instruction and support to help students achieve their academic and social goals.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Adjust teaching methods and materials to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
  • Regularly assess student progress and adapt instructional strategies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Active Special Education Teaching Licensure/Credential in Michigan
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (Master's preferred)
  • Experience with Special Needs Students is preferred
