Fire Sprinkler System Technician II

About the Role:
The Fire Sprinkler System Technician II will be responsible for servicing and repairing fire protection sprinkler systems for commercial applications. This role requires a strong understanding of fire pumps and underground sprinkler systems, as well as knowledge of NFPA and local codes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service and repair fire protection sprinkler systems for commercial applications
- Perform preventative and routine maintenance, as well as emergency service calls, as needed
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning sprinkler systems
- Replace or repair malfunctioning or inoperative equipment
- Prepare accurate and timely documentation for work performed
Requirements:
- Minimum of High School/Vocational training
- Three or more years of experience in all fire sprinkler systems (wet, dry, deluge, and pre-action)
- Working knowledge of fire pumps and underground sprinkler systems
- Full understanding of NFPA and local codes (NFPA 13, 13(R), 13(D), 14, 20, 24)
- Valid driver's license and ability to clear a drug screening
Work Environment:
The Fire Sprinkler System Technician II will work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to outside weather conditions, risk of electrical shock, and harsh work environments. The ideal candidate will be able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions/circumstances.
