The Opportunity

We're seeking a seasoned Strategic Business Development Manager - Informatics Solutions to lead our commercial team in the East Region within our Diagnostics Informatics organization. As a key member of our team, you'll execute a clear strategy to profitably grow market share and revenue, meeting or exceeding plan commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sales teams to achieve sales goals and objectives in specified markets and geographical territories, supporting the overall revenue and strategic plan
  • Develop and execute an annual strategic plan to meet sales and margin commitments
  • Manage a regional organization of direct reports and provide training and resources for success
  • Identify customer needs and support teams to demonstrate the value of our Informatics solutions, products, and services
  • Create demand by identifying new products and solutions that are customer-centric, with potential to increase revenue and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with other functions to evaluate the value and feasibility of introducing new or customized products and services
  • Engage regularly with cross-functional teams to ensure effective relationships between districts and alignment on priorities for dotted line support
  • Travel 50% of the time to assess business opportunities, build customer relationships, and provide coaching to employees
  • Develop a high-performance team by acquiring, developing, and retaining top talent, driving a culture of continuous improvement, creativity, and accountability

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience leading complex contract negotiations
  • 5+ years in sales roles with demonstrated ability to align and integrate diverse business teams and functions to deliver results
  • Proven track record in gaining market share or growing the market, renewing/defending existing business
  • Experience managing sales teams and extensive SaaS/software sales experience

Salary Range: $125,300.00 – $250,700.00 (may vary based on location)
