Job Title: Specialized Employer Partnership Developer

CAMBA is a community-driven organization that provides comprehensive services to individuals and families in need. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Specialized Employer Partnership Developer to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Specialized Employer Partnership Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with potential employers in the NY Metro area. This includes researching and identifying job openings, building a pool of job openings in various sectors, and maintaining excellent relationships with potential employers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify job openings in various sectors, including industries that are well-matched to clients with professional skill sets.
  • Develop and maintain a database of prospective employer contacts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential employers, including regular communication and follow-up.
  • Identify and source partnership opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, emails, and visits.
  • Request current job openings from existing and potential employers, obtaining as much information as possible.
  • Work closely with Job Developers and WFD refugee professional staff to promote open positions and identify suitable candidates.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employers having openings suitable to the skills and abilities of our diverse clientele.
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate between Job Developers and hiring managers.
  • Request feedback from employers regarding client interviews and share with Job Developers.
  • Once a client is placed, periodically request documentation from employers to meet both placement and retention goals.
  • Collaborate with senior management and teammates to align internal goals with new and existing partner relationships.
  • Collaborate with community partners and outside agencies to cultivate relationships and expand the department's capacity for education, outreach, and job placement services.
  • Plan and execute hiring events to support program components.
  • Maintain a great ongoing relationship with current partners and offer new ways to grow the partnership.
  • Produce regular reports and updates for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) and/or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in employment services or social services-related fields.
  • Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to motivate and engage clients.
  • Preferred bilingual languages – Spanish, French/Creole, Ukrainian.
