Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join Cross Resource Group as a Training Instructor, responsible for delivering Operator Qualifications (OQ) and Poly Fusion Training courses to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training, with experience in the construction, pipeline, or oil and gas industries. As a Training Instructor, you will be responsible for coordinating training activities, presenting information using various instructional techniques, and evaluating participants' knowledge through written or tablet-based examinations.

The salary for this position is estimated at $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience. If you are a motivated individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to facilitate traditional classroom safety training, we encourage you to apply.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Training Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of completed training and attendance, planning and scheduling individual travel arrangements for training assignments, and ensuring standard training forms for courses are updated and accurate. Additionally, you will be required to contact customers to gather feedback from services to determine future training needs and provide internal training to company employees as needed.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate training activities and programs to ensure all participants complete OQ training within prescribed requirements established by program guidelines.
- Present information using a variety of instructional techniques, including computer-based training, group discussions, videos, and lectures.
- Facilitate traditional classroom safety training.
- Evaluate participants' knowledge using written or tablet-based examinations.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.

Requirements

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience and/or training in the construction, pipeline, or oil and gas industries required.
- Intermediate computer and Microsoft Office skills required.
