Health Services Administrator (HSA) Job Summary

The Health Services Administrator (HSA) is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the delivery of healthcare services at the Monroe County Jail in Michigan. As a member of the VitalCore Health Strategies team, the HSA will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of care for patients and maintaining a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the healthcare delivery system and coordinate with other functions within the facility.
  • Develop and supervise the facility operational plan.
  • Direct the activities of assigned staff and actively recruit new staff.
  • Interface with VitalCore Human Resources for hiring and terminating site staff.
  • Ensure site utilization and compliance with all VitalCore and applicable client systems and applications.
  • Coordinate the Medical Audit Committee and facilitate monthly meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with ACA and/or NCCHC standards and VitalCore clinical services and administrative policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum of two years of management experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance.
  • Correctional healthcare experience preferred.
