About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Gentiva Health Services. As a Hospice Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients and their families, promoting their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as emptying trash and changing linens
  • Prepare and serve light meals and snacks
  • Assist patients with ambulation and transfer
  • Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families
  • Document patient care and report any changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
  • 6 months of patient care experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology
  • Current driver's license and automobile insurance
  • Current CPR certification
