We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team at Covenant Living. As a member of our healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, including routine daily direction and monitoring of nursing assistants.
- Assist in the orientation of new LPN/LVNs and nursing assistants, reinforcing training standards to maintain a high quality of care.
- Communicate effectively with the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing regarding observations, suggestions, and concerns.
- Observe and evaluate residents' health, mental, and emotional conditions, and communicate significant changes to appropriate staff.
- Provide direct patient care, including procedures such as catheter placement and care, colostomy care, suction, dressings, naso-gastric tubes, and other treatments.
- Graduate of an approved school of licensed practical/vocational nursing.
- Current license, in good standing, as an LPN/LVN in the State.
- One year of nursing experience.
- Devotion to standards and principles of professional nursing.
- A competitive salary range of $41.00.
- A generous benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, employer-paid group term life and disability, paid time off, and six paid holidays.
- A 403(b) plan with a 3% employer match.
