About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in a correctional setting. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the assessment and data collection of patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions in the correctional setting.
  • Provide restoration of competency services to Incompetent to Stand Trial (IST) patients in both group and individual formats.
  • Implement medical plans, administer medications, and obtain diagnostic tests in accordance with Health Care Practitioner's orders and protocols.
  • Communicate patient information to nursing staff, physician, health care unit supervisory personnel, and other staff as necessary.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • One (1) or more years clinic experience preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state of employment.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Phlebotomy certification strongly preferred.
