Job Description

At IBM Services DBA The UPS Store, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
  • Practice good listening skills with customers, team members, and leadership
  • Take ownership of customers' shipping needs and offer viable solutions
  • Operate all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and be willing to teach others
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
  • Stay current with web-based training and best practices
  • Empathize and manage demanding, impatient, and/or frustrated customers to turn a stressful event into a positive experience

Requirements:
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and math
  • Prompt, reliable, and responsible
  • Able to lift 35 pounds
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Should become a notary (Expenses will be taken care)

Additional Requirements:
  • Prior UPS store associate experience is not needed
  • Prior UPS store associate experience is a plus
  • POS Knowledge: Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and ability to process transactions accurately
