Job Description

Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida is a leading organization dedicated to serving people with disabilities and disadvantages by offering life-changing opportunities to achieve independence.

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and contributing to the success of our retail operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide friendly, fast, and accurate customer service
  • Assist customers on the sales floor and at checkout
  • Become familiar with all departments/categories to assist with customer questions and requests
  • Greet all customers, take donations, and provide receipts
  • Cross-trained to cover the backdoor donation area and process all stations in the backroom

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Retail experience preferred
  • Ability to use cash register, adding machine, credit card machine, and telephone
  • Knowledge of basic math skills and ability to follow pricing guidelines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 40 pounds
