Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team in Fort Myers. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers on the sales floor, and processing transactions at the register.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide friendly, fast, and accurate customer service
  • Assist customers on the sales floor and at the checkout register
  • Become familiar with all departments and categories to assist with customer questions and requests
  • Greet all customers, take donations, and provide receipts
  • Cross-train to cover the backdoor donation area and process all stations in the backroom
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Retail experience preferred
  • Ability to use cash register, adding machine, credit card machine, and telephone
  • Knowledge of basic math skills and ability to follow pricing guidelines
  • Ability to use good judgment and exercise patience and understanding
  • Physical ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, and move items
