Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and friendly individual to provide exceptional customer service and support in our retail store. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers on the sales floor, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card payments, and returns.
  • Assist customers in finding products and answering questions about store policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and disposing of trash.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
