We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team at Ryder in Lansing, Michigan. As a Diesel Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, brake and tire work
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic problems
  • Replace defective components as instructed
  • Perform facility maintenance duties
  • Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or technical certification, post-secondary degree, or technical certifications preferred
  • Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A, preferred
