Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Loves Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues on diesel engines, as well as providing preventative maintenance services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues on diesel engines, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components.
  • Provide preventative maintenance services to our customers, including oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance tasks.
  • Assist customers with roadside services, including fuel delivery and tire changes.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places with friendly faces.
  • Interact with customers and drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better.

Requirements:

  • Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including outdoors and in confined spaces.
  • Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation.
  • Ability to work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
