Job Summary

ICP Group is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Plant Manager to lead our Tampa, FL manufacturing facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the plant, ensuring the production of high-quality products, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of manufacturing and operations personnel, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure the success of the team.
  • Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and company goals, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing downtime.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the production of high-quality products, meeting or exceeding customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, reducing costs, and increasing efficiency, while maintaining or improving product quality.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for employees.
  • Capital Projects and Maintenance: Manage capital projects, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring the plant's equipment and facilities are in good working condition, and minimizing downtime.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with various levels of the organization, including plant managers, team leaders, and employees, to ensure seamless collaboration and information sharing.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field; MBA or graduate degree highly desired.
  • Experience: 10-15 years of experience in the specialty chemical, paint, or asphalt industry, with 10+ years of management and senior leadership experience in directing a high-performance manufacturing team.
  • Certifications: Lean and Six Sigma certifications strongly preferred.
  • Language: Bi-lingual required (Spanish).
  • Skills: Strong leadership and team-building skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment, and proficiency in Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
