Job Summary

NESCO Inc is seeking a highly skilled Chemical Plant Operator to join our team. As a Chemical Plant Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our chemical plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sample Collection and Testing: Collect and analyze samples of liquid materials from various locations in the plant, using standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure accurate results.
  • Plant Walk-Downs: Conduct regular walk-downs of the plant to identify areas in need of attention, including piping, valves, and work areas, and document findings using a written walk-sheet.
  • Maintenance and Mechanical Work: Perform routine maintenance and mechanical tasks, including cleaning work areas, tightening valves, and painting pipes, to ensure the plant operates at optimal levels.
  • Assisting with Loading Trucks: Assist with loading trucks as needed, using mechanical attachments to ensure safe and efficient loading.

Requirements

  • Strong Work Ethic: Possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Mechanical Knowledge: Have a good understanding of mechanical procedures and parts, and be able to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced production environment.
