Position Overview:
This role is tailored for an Engineer with a solid background in power generation systems. The position focuses on delivering technical assistance for engineering, construction, operation, and maintenance activities aimed at improving reliability and minimizing expenses. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, the Engineer will tackle intricate challenges, engage in industry conferences, and rotate responsibilities for professional growth. Collaboration with fellow engineers is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and propose enhancements to design, construction, operation, and maintenance practices
  • Create and uphold equipment specifications
  • Diagnose operational challenges and spearhead root cause analyses
  • Offer technical guidance to plant staff
  • Lead initiatives for improvement and manage capital plans
  • Review engineering designs and specifications
  • Support asset management through various programs
  • Engage in industry forums to expand expertise
  • Assist in updating documentation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
  • Maintenance of engineering-related testing, inspection, and repair records
  • Minimum experience in power plant engineering as per Engineer classification
  • Understanding of power plant design and fundamental plant processes
  • Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, teamwork, and safety consciousness

  • 24/7 availability to address plant requirements
  • Work in environments that may be dusty, hot, and noisy
  • Capability to work from elevated platforms and ascend ladders/stairs
