Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join our finance team at Flexsys. This role will play a key part in supporting the Corporate Controller in all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, audit compliance, and internal control policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all external and statutory audits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Support the annual audit process by preparing schedules, providing documentation, and liaising with auditors.
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Implement and maintain internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Draft new and revised accounting policies, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Assist with accounting and policy training for the global finance team.
  • Respond to and resolve standard and routine business and accounting policy interpretation requests.
  • Manage all aspects of foreign exchange accounting, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Provide support and analysis to management for operational decisions, including potential acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Requirements
  • BA/BS in Accounting, CPA required.
  • At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Public accounting experience required, Big 4 preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Hands-on, 'roll up sleeves' mentality, with the ability to act at both high and low levels of work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, experience with SAP S/4Hana a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
