Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to lead our AWS Engineering teams in delivering innovative solutions for large enterprise environments, including Fortune 500 companies.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of AWS infrastructure and a proven track record in managing complex technical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership : Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of AWS-focused projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and client requirements.
  • Team Management : Lead and mentor cross-functional engineering teams, fostering collaboration and communication across all levels.
  • Technical Expertise : Leverage extensive knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, Route 53, etc.) to provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Infrastructure as Code : Oversee the implementation of Terraform for automated infrastructure provisioning and management, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with stakeholders, including product owners, architects, and clients, to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Risk Management : Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery within budget and timelines.
  • Performance Monitoring : Establish KPIs and metrics to assess project performance, and utilize data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Documentation : Ensure thorough documentation of project plans, technical specifications, and operational procedures for future reference and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience : 5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years leading AWS engineering teams in enterprise environments.
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, Route 53, and others. Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
  • Certifications : AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent certifications preferred.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to project challenges.
