POSITION OVERVIEW

Skyline Lodge is on the lookout for a dynamic and proactive individual to oversee the Facilities Operations Department and serve as the primary authority on the maintenance of the lodge's infrastructure, equipment, and grounds. This role is pivotal in ensuring guest and team member satisfaction, managing expenses, and upholding product excellence in alignment with the hotel's overarching objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs, along with preventive maintenance across all hotel areas.
  • Supervise and guide maintenance personnel to ensure the upkeep of hallways, public spaces, and guest rooms.
  • Complete daily maintenance requests and tasks as assigned.
  • Regularly inspect public areas and the overall resort for cleanliness, safety, and appearance.
  • Maintain an organized maintenance workshop and ensure the security of hotel assets, including tools and equipment.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to all guest inquiries; adhere to safety protocols regarding hazardous materials.
  • Report any suspicious activities or unsafe conditions to the General Manager.
  • Follow established Lost and Found procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of guest interaction and relations.
  • Order supplies and comprehend daily instructions and equipment manuals, including safety guidelines.
Requirements:

Flexibility: The work schedule may vary (including days, nights, weekends, and holidays) based on operational needs. Generally, expect to work 50 to 55 hours per week.
