Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge electrical systems for our products, including camera systems, compute, power, battery, and networking.
Responsibilities- Own all electrical systems across Kargo products, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with external design partners to develop custom electronics that meet our specifications.
- Design and develop circuit boards, including part selection, circuit design, simulation, schematic capture, and layout review.
- Deliver full lifecycle electronic design from initial concept through to production, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Work cross-functionally with mechanical, firmware, optics, and software teams to ensure a cohesive and efficient product development process.
- Own board and system level bring-up testing and characterization, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
- Design and prototype cable assembly and wire harness systems, from prototype through mass production.
- Develop low-level firmware for bring-up and test, ensuring seamless integration with our products.
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional work experience in electrical engineering, analog circuit, and power electronics.
- Strong experience with cameras, sensors, embedded systems, and power management.
- Hands-on approach, including prototyping and testing.
- PCB design experience, including CAD tools, schematic, layout, simulation, manufacturing, and test/debug.
- Familiarity with communication protocols (GMSL, CAN, I2C, SPI, MIPI, DDR, PCIe).
