Transformative Pediatrics Role at VCU Health

The Division of Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine at the Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU is seeking an exceptional candidate to join our team as a Pediatric Pulmonologist, Sleep Medicine specialist. As an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, you will play a pivotal role in mentoring a new generation of pediatricians in the field of pediatric pulmonology and sleep medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical care in pediatric pulmonary and/or sleep medicine, both in the outpatient and inpatient setting.
  • Develop and lead teaching programs for medical students, residents, and fellows in pediatric pulmonology and sleep medicine.
  • Contribute to research initiatives and publications in pediatric pulmonology and sleep medicine.
  • Engage in service and professional activities within the department and the broader academic community.

Requirements:

  • Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Pulmonology.
  • Experience in clinical care of patients ages birth to 21.
  • Experience in education and mentoring of housestaff, medical students, and others.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment.
