The University of Central Florida's Office of Institutional Equity seeks an investigator to handle complaints of employment discrimination and harassment.

The investigator will report to the Director of the Office of Institutional Equity and be responsible for conducting thorough and impartial investigations, including the preparation of accurate investigative reports.

The successful candidate will act as an impartial investigator throughout the investigation process, ensuring that all activities and decisions are consistent with University policies and procedures.

The investigator will conduct inquiries, perform investigations, provide training, facilitate employee requests for accommodations, and provide information on compliance with University policies and civil rights laws.

Assess inquiries and complaints for appropriate University response, ensure proper case documentation, and close out all investigations in the Office of Institutional Equity's database.

Assist in the development and execution of training materials on the prevention of discrimination and harassment, reporting requirements, and how to report concerns to the Office of Institutional Equity.

Assist with data compilation and review to identify trends, gaps, and weaknesses in support of non-discrimination efforts and internal and external reporting.

Assist the Director of the Office of Institutional Equity with special projects, policy reviews, and committee participation.

Provide guidance to management and employees on compliance with applicable nondiscrimination and accommodation laws, regulations, and policies.

Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with a strong command of federal and state nondiscrimination laws and employment discrimination principles.

The ideal candidate will have a high level of discretion, good judgment, and the ability to establish credibility and productive working relationships with various constituents.
