About the Role

At SP Plus Corporation, we are committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service and support.



Key Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:


  • Providing exceptional customer service by treating each customer with respect and kindness, ensuring that every interaction delivers on our promise of making every moment matter.
  • Managing cash transactions by collecting cash and/or validations, maintaining security of cash, and making change as needed.
  • Operating a cash register by calculating costs of transactions, displaying costs on the register, and quoting prices for parking services.
  • Assisting customers by providing directions to city locations, resolving customer complaints, and answering telephone calls in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace by cleaning the booth, picking up trash, and conducting timely checks to ensure a proper inventory of necessary work aids and supplies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.
  • Basic math skills to accurately handle cash transactions and calculate costs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and move around the facility as needed.
