Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care to patients, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing interventions as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
- IV Therapy Credentials (preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- None required.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to demonstrate good judgment, work with and maintain confidential information, and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Delegation skills.
This role requires working in a patient care area, interacting with patients, and potentially being exposed to blood, body fluids, and tissue. The incumbent must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work effectively in a team setting.
