Job Summary

We're seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in the OLGMC 5C Medical Renal Unit. As an LPN, you'll provide direct care to patients, including IV therapy, and work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to patients, including IV therapy, within the framework of the Licensed Practical Nurse Act under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
  • Direct and assist ancillary nursing staff with assigned duties.
  • Interact with the multidisciplinary team and other personnel to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Demonstrate professional responsibilities and assist other members of the healthcare team in providing the highest quality personalized patient care.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with and maintaining confidential information and working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Current LPN License in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred: IV Therapy Credentials.
