Compensation:
Starting pay ranges from $22 to $35 per hour, depending on qualifications. Comprehensive training will be provided using ELM's equipment, including a company vehicle that serves as your mobile office.

Our technicians leverage the advanced LaunchPoint software system, equipped with cutting-edge technology, to streamline their tasks and enhance efficiency.

As a Utility Location Specialist, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding your community by ensuring the reliable marking of gas, electric, and communication systems. This is vital for preventing excavation damage to essential utilities that provide heat, light, and communication services.

Key Responsibilities:
Your primary duties will include:

  • Independently working outdoors, utilizing your company-provided vehicle to complete daily locate requests.
  • Accurately and safely locating and marking underground utilities, primarily electric and gas lines, using appropriate marking tools.
  • Completing all required digital documentation and paperwork.
  • Logging in each morning from your vehicle to receive daily routes and locate requests.
  • Responding promptly to emergency calls as directed.
  • Participating in periodic overtime and weekend on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Possess a valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Note:
This position is classified as Safety-Sensitive under DOT regulations, and compliance with all Federal Department of Transportation regulations is mandatory.
