Our utility services are crucial for maintaining the infrastructure that supports modern life in our communities.

In addition to competitive hourly wages, ELM provides a robust benefits package that includes:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate independently outdoors, utilizing your company vehicle as a mobile office, completing daily locate requests.
  • Accurately and safely locate and mark underground utilities, including electric and gas lines, using appropriate marking tools.
  • Complete all required digital documentation and reports.
  • Receive daily routes and locate requests via a handheld smartphone, starting and ending your day from your residence.
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls as directed.
  • Participate in periodic overtime and weekend on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Important: This position is classified as Safety-Sensitive and must adhere to all Federal Department of Transportation regulations. The use of marijuana, whether medical or recreational, is prohibited.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily outdoor work.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts, Day shift, Monday to Friday, with on-call and overtime as required.
