As a vital part of the community, our technicians ensure the reliability of essential services such as gas, electricity, and communication systems by providing meticulous utility marking to avert excavation damages.
Our utility services are crucial for maintaining the infrastructure that supports modern life in our communities.
In addition to competitive hourly wages, ELM provides a robust benefits package that includes:

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate independently outdoors, utilizing your company vehicle as a mobile office, completing daily locate requests.
- Accurately and safely locate and mark underground utilities, including electric and gas lines, using appropriate marking tools.
- Complete all required digital documentation and reports.
- Receive daily routes and locate requests via a handheld smartphone, starting and ending your day from your residence.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls as directed.
- Participate in periodic overtime and weekend on-call rotations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Important: This position is classified as Safety-Sensitive and must adhere to all Federal Department of Transportation regulations. The use of marijuana, whether medical or recreational, is prohibited.
Work Environment:
- Primarily outdoor work.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts, Day shift, Monday to Friday, with on-call and overtime as required.
