Job Summary:

Hirebridge is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Director of Reinsurance Operations Management. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the treaty renewal process in partnership with our broker team, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.
  • Analyze data and information to inform reinsurance needs, providing strategic recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Coordinate data and information requests to support submission development, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Organize and execute reinsurer audits and other office visits, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Lead facultative placements as needed, leveraging your expertise to drive successful outcomes.
  • Provide regular updates on key reinsurance metrics to stakeholders, including aggregations, collateral needs, receivable status, timeliness of recoveries, and others.
  • Partner with company leaders to ensure operational needs are met and key stakeholders are informed on a regular basis.
  • Ensure effective execution of reinsurance accounting, execution of contracts, processing of invoices, and recovery of reinsured losses.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of reinsurance programs, providing estimates of Ceded Premiums for Plan and Quarterly forecasts, as well as individual reinsurer P/L positions.
  • Conduct various internal/external reporting and analysis, including Schedule P and Schedule F preparation, document retention, journal entries, and other tasks as required.
  • Review, document, facilitate, and recommend various contract wordings, agreements, and addendums associated with the reinsurance program.
