PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring it is free from dust and debris.
  2. Prepare carts with necessary supplies to perform assigned tasks.
  3. Thoroughly clean all assigned guest rooms within the designated time frame. Duties include:
    1. Changing bed linens and making beds.
    2. Vacuuming carpets and moving furniture as necessary for cleaning.
    3. Dusting and cleaning all surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and appliances.
    4. Cleaning mirrors, windows, and walls.
    5. Deep cleaning bathrooms, including showers, sinks, floors, and toilets.
    6. Restocking room amenities such as toiletries and writing supplies.
    7. Emptying wastebaskets.
    8. Ensuring guest room setups meet established standards.
    9. Reporting any discrepancies in room status to the Inspector.
    10. Following standard procedures for Lost & Found items.
    11. Documenting completed tasks on the assignment sheet.
  4. Ensure all cleaning equipment is in working order and that supplies are adequately stocked. Report any equipment needing repair or supplies that need to be ordered.
  5. Engage with guests to answer inquiries and provide necessary services, referring them to other staff as needed.
  6. Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  7. Foster a teamwork environment among staff members.
  8. Participate in departmental and inter-departmental meetings as required.
  9. Communicate any relevant information regarding shift activities to management.
  10. Be knowledgeable about hotel emergency procedures.
  11. Maintain a safe work environment by identifying and addressing potential hazards.
  12. Strive for total guest satisfaction.
  13. Follow supervisory instructions and perform other duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES
  1. Maintain cleanliness in the white room at all times.
  2. Assist in laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
  3. Help organize and clean the storage room as needed.
  4. Perform ceiling cleaning tasks.
  5. Assist in moving heavy furniture.
  6. Prepare and make rollaway beds.
