The Role

Lumen Technology Architects are visionary professionals who harness technological advancements to drive business growth and customer success. As a key member of our team, you'll collaborate with Sales, Solution Engineering, and Customer Success teams to design and architect innovative solutions using our technology services platform. Your expertise will be essential in driving customer engagement, identifying business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that meet customer needs.

As a Technology Architect, you'll be responsible for:

  • Designing and architecting solutions using our technology services platform
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive customer engagement and identify business opportunities
  • Developing and presenting technical proposals and presentations to customers
  • Providing expert guidance and support to customers on our technology solutions
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and growth
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a pre-sales role, with a strong background in needs identification, qualification, and solutions design
  • Expert-level knowledge of Networks-as-a-Service, NFV, MEF/Carrier Ethernet, TCP/IP, BGP, Internet, MPLS, SASE, DDOS, Network Security, and Cloud Connect to GCP, Azure, AWS, and Oracle
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead discussions with clients at all levels
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong ability to up-sell existing customers and generate new business
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions
  • Expert problem-solving skills, with the ability to methodically understand and resolve complex issues

Our compensation package includes a base salary range of $104,740 to $161,700, depending on location and experience.
