Network Architect

Marriott International is seeking a highly skilled Architect, Network DevOps to lead the transformation of our global network strategy and platforms. This role will drive the adoption of DevOps practices and operating models across our networks, including Property Networks, Datacenter/Cloud Networks, and Corporate Networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a global network DevOps roadmap, establishing management-level relationships with business disciplines, outsourcing vendors, and external suppliers.
- Define and support service delivery and operational support standards for Next Generation Operations, partnering with global technology peer teams to meet service level requirements and resolve service delivery issues.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex global distributed infrastructure monitoring, management, and automation solutions to manage our global network.
- Collaborate with Network teams to develop network DevOps/SRE solutions, focusing on production integration, network analysis, configuration management, and improvements for system software performance, availability, and reliability.
- Manage Network DevOps/SRE products and solutions, including design, low-level engineering, and delivery of new hardware systems for Marriott applications across the network.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related technical field experience/certification.
- 8+ years' experience in information technology, including 5+ years of IT network infrastructure leadership experience and at least 3 years of experience in DevOps or SRE teams.
- 5+ years of experience working IaC in Multi-cloud environment with emphasis on AWS, Azure, and AliCloud using Terraform.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing Network Automation platform with CICD Pipeline, PERL or Python, and delivering written documents detailing network solutions and diagrams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate Degree (e.g., MS, PhD) in Computer Science or other technical discipline or MBA, preferably with a focus on technology.
- 10+ years' experience managing large, globally distributed network architecture, engineering, and/or operations teams and leveraging next-generation network designs and technologies to support large-scale deployments.

- Competitive salary range: $113,850 to $216,315 annually.
