In this Cancer Care Nurse role at Catholic Health Initiatives, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families. As a member of our radiation oncology team, you will provide expert nursing care and support to patients undergoing radiation therapy.

About the Job

This position requires a highly skilled and compassionate RN who can provide individualized patient care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer medications, perform physical assessments, and document patient information.
  • Develop and implement personalized patient care plans, incorporating current research and evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and address complex clinical issues.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, ensuring they understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and side effects.
