Radiation Oncology Specialist

Catholic Health Initiatives seeks a Radiation Oncology Specialist to join our team in providing exceptional patient care. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to work with patients who are undergoing radiation therapy for cancer treatment.
Job Summary
The RN will provide direct patient care, education, and support to patients and their families throughout the radiation oncology process. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess a passion for delivering compassionate care.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing physical assessments, and documenting patient information.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account each patient's unique needs and goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, addressing concerns and answering questions related to radiation therapy and cancer treatment.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Tennessee or Georgia.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in oncology or a related field.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification preferred.
