Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Relations Manager to join our team at The Salvation Army USA Western Territory. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in our community and contribute to our mission of serving those in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications plan to advance our resource development, brand, and community engagement goals.
  • Manage and maintain our website and online marketing initiatives, including social media and email campaigns.
  • Promote and coordinate volunteerism throughout our division, including processing volunteer applications and conducting background checks.
  • Assist with special events and provide photography services as needed.
  • Develop and maintain an organized communications management system, including files, electronic records, and photo library.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or Communications.
  • Minimum of three years' relevant professional experience.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with ability to edit photos and videos.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass The Salvation Army Driver Safety Course.
