Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in all Resorts West properties. This role will serve as the main interface between the Property Service Manager, housekeeping manager, and housekeeping staff, enforcing cleaning standards and policies while promoting the Luxury Defined standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service: Ensure that Resorts West guests receive exceptional service and courtesy.
  • Cleaning Quality: Conduct daily inspections of all assigned housekeeping work to ensure Resorts West cleaning quality and standards are met.
  • Standards and Policies: Work with the Housekeeping Manager to determine and implement housekeeping standards and policies.
  • Supply Management: Assist in ordering housekeeping supplies and monitor usage.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report housekeeping staff performance to the Property Service Manager and Housekeeping Manager.
  • Training and Development: Assist in training housekeeping staff and develop a team of housekeepers.
  • Inspections and Reporting: Complete and oversee inspection checks for all units prior to arrivals, perform inspections for all owner stays, and document all inspections performed on an inspector's worksheet.
  • Inventory and Maintenance: Assist in full inventorying and documentation of all managed properties, assist in deep cleaning of all managed units, and inspect such deep cleaning.
  • Property Upgrades and Maintenance: Make observations of needed property upgrades, deficiencies in minimum inventories, and suggest replacements. Assist the Property Service Manager in recommending upgrades, maintenance of minimum inventory requirements, and replacements.
  • Communication and Reporting: Communicate the status of all units in a prompt manner and report damage, maintenance issues, and unit needs to the manager.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to lift heavy objects upwards of 75lbs, and have a personal vehicle for travel to and from assigned properties. They will also have the personal skills necessary to represent Resorts West in a professional manner whenever interfacing with guests, owners, and industry peers.
