The Arc Eastern Connecticut is a leading provider of services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are seeking a dedicated Support Professional to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver training, support, and assistance to participants in areas such as personal care, recreation, and daily living skills.
- Participate in the design, implementation, and monitoring of individualized support plans.
- Administer prescribed medications and complete required documentation.
- Ensure participants' health and safety, including prevention of abuse and emergency response.
- Provide transportation and prepare meals for participants.
Requirements:
- Prior experience working with people with developmental and physical disabilities preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer aptitude and English language proficiency required.
