Support Professional

Job Summary:
To provide support and assistance to individuals receiving services across various aspects of their lives, including educational, residential, and community environments. This role involves promoting choice and independence while ensuring protective oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be a positive role model and advocate for the individuals you support in all situations and settings.
- Provide support for activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, and assist with tasks such as showering and using the restroom.
- Help individuals develop their personal goals and plans in partnership with them.
- Support and encourage individuals to make choices about their goals, activities, and lifestyle.
- Collect required data and complete necessary documentation for supports and services provided.
- Ensure safe and clean environments for the individuals we support.
- Attend team meetings and 1:1 meetings with supervisor.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associates' degree preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mandatory overtime as necessary.
- Proficiency in various computer software and e-mail applications, especially Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Valid Driver's License required.
