Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our team at US Foods. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for fostering customer relationships, managing deliveries, and driving sales growth in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster customer relationships and build trust through regular communication and exceptional customer service
  • Manage deliveries to ensure timely and accurate product delivery to customers
  • Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and leveraging resources to assist with top penetration opportunities
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales
  • Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and client

Requirements

  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred
  • Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality
  • Problem-solving ability/organization and negotiation skills
  • Team up mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office products
  • Valid driver's license required and motor vehicle record must be in good standing

Work Environment

Frequently outside the office environment working in the field visiting customers in variable weather and temperature conditions.
