 Job Summary

The Medical Assistant I is a vital member of our team at Facility Franklin Community Health Network, supporting patient care and administrative tasks in a collaborative environment. To ensure a smooth patient flow, the Medical Assistant I works under the license of a provider, performing clinical and patient care duties. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) include:

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with a focus on meeting one of the following requirements: completion of an accredited vocational institution or community college in Medical Assisting with 160 hours of clinical experience; or completion of an Adult Education Medical Assistant program and 6 months of clinical experience; or 1 year of clinical experience in a multi-provider practice setting.
  • License/Certifications: Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT certification is preferred or should be achieved within 1 year of eligibility. BLS certification is required within 3 months of hire, and an NH Med Tech License or NH EMT and National Registry EMT license is necessary for positions in New Hampshire.
  • Experience: Relevant experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
