About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead the housekeeping department and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction through effective management of staff and resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing Housekeeping Operations and Budgets:
    • Oversee compliance with all housekeeping policies, standards, and procedures to maintain high levels of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
    • Ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting to meet financial goals.
    • Supervise daily housekeeping shift operations and conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement.
    • Inventories supplies and ensures adequate stock levels to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
  • Conducting Human Resources Activities:
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance associate skills and knowledge.
    • Schedule associates to meet business demands and track attendance to optimize workforce utilization.
    • Establish clear expectations and parameters for associates to ensure consistent performance and delivery of exceptional customer service.
  • Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service:
    • Sets a positive example for guest relations and empowers associates to provide excellent customer service.
    • Responds to and resolves guest problems and complaints promptly and professionally.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High school diploma or GED; 3 years experience in housekeeping or related professional area.
  • Or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 3 years experience in housekeeping or related professional area.
