Responsibilities:
Our Inpatient Medical Surgical Unit is a twenty-seven bed unit with a pulmonary specialty and care of urology patients. We are experts in respiratory assessment and management of patients experiencing thoracic surgery. Our patient population includes those with COPD, TB, thoracic surgery, ENT surgery, Cystic Fibrosis, and Asthma. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high quality, skilled nursing services and include:
Assisting patients to achieve optimum health and functional health status following an illness requiring hospitalization.
Collaborating with physicians and other health care professionals.
Preparing patients and families for discharge to home or another setting for continued care.

Qualifications:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with a current WA State RN license and 1 or more years recent RN experience with acute care patients. Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing is also required. Virginia Mason offers much more than competitive compensation and benefits.
