Inpatient Medical Nurse

Overview:
Virginia Mason Franciscan Health offers a rewarding career opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in an inpatient medical/surgical unit with a pulmonary specialty. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients with a range of conditions, including COPD, TB, thoracic surgery, ENT surgery, Cystic Fibrosis, and Asthma.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting patients to achieve optimum health and functional health status following an illness requiring hospitalization
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Preparing patients and families for discharge to home or another setting for continued care
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A current WA State RN license
- 1 or more years recent RN experience with acute care patients
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing
