Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training and Development Manager to join our team at Marine Well Containment Company. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive training programs that meet the needs of our employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training Program Development: Design and develop formal and informal learning solutions using various methods, including Instructor-Led Training (ILT), On-The-Job Training (OJT), Web-Based Training (WBT), Simulation Training, and other platforms.
  • Learning Management System (LMS) Management: Administer and manage our LMS, ensuring its configuration is up-to-date and efficient.
  • Training Metrics and Analytics: Use learning metrics and analytics to measure the impact of learning solutions and provide management reporting as needed.
  • Vendor Management: Manage third-party vendors who provide training solutions for our training catalog.
  • Training Operations: Assist in managing Human Resources/Training Operations Excellence Systems and support the General Manager, Human Resources in preparation of the annual training plan and budget.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years of oil and gas industry experience or other related field.
  • Skills: Working knowledge of Instructional Systems Design (ISD), Adult Learning Methods, and Learning Management Systems (Cornerstone LMS). Advanced Microsoft suite skills and ability to multi-task.
Working Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb stairs, use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms close to and overhead of their body. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds.
