Training and Development Coordinator

At Hilcorp, we are seeking a highly skilled Training and Development Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for coordinating training programs, events, communications, and analyzing training data to ensure effective administration and a high-quality training experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage budgets, develop and administer training department budgets, and recommend equipment and staff and department purchases.
  • Maintain records, including trainee lists, schedules, and attendance sheets.
  • Manage large events and logistics, including hotel, restaurant, and conference area arrangements.
  • Manage travel arrangements for facilitators and assist with participant logistics.
  • Prepare classrooms and training rooms, manage the training calendar, 360 process, and experience for leaders in the company.
  • Create and review training materials, such as instructional notes and feedback forms.
  • Prepare reports on training activities and results.
  • Help vendors and participants interact with each other and troubleshoot issues that arise.
  • Ensure that all training activities comply with established policies and best practices.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Maintain employee confidence and protect company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional associations.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed.

Requirements:

  • Two (2) years minimum training and development or administration experience.
  • Demonstrated success in project management, including programs and systems with administrative and organizational skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
  • Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities without close supervision.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds for various classroom needs.
  • Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:
    • Required: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
    • Preferred: Learning Management System, E-learning course creation software such as iSpring, Camtasia Studio, MS Access.

Education Requirements:

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year university or college with a degree in human resources, business administration, industrial psychology, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience.
